FASD "Did you know?"
Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders or FASD include three diagnoses: Alcohol Related Neuro-developmental Disorder (ARND), partial Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, (pFAS) formally FAE, and Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS). These range in degree of severity among those affected. There can be a range of developmental, physical, behavioural and cognitive (thinking) difficulties .
There is no safe time and no safe amount to drink alcohol during pregnancy.
