We don't usually think about our benefit coverage - until we need to. In the Burntwood Regional Health Authority, benefit coverage is an important part of the compensation package. Benefits provide staff members and their families with protection and security.

There are a range of insurance plans that provide coverage in the event of illness, injury or death:

  • Life Insurance
  • Accidental Death & Dismemberment
  • Long Term Disability
  • Extended Health
  • Dental Coverage
These Plans are provided through the Healthcare Employees Benefit Plan (HEBP). The Burntwood Regional Health Authority also provides a pension plan to its employees through the Healthcare Employees Pension Plan (HEPP).

The Burntwood Regional Health Authority also provides an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) which is at no cost to the employee and is administered by Manitoba Blue Cross.

Note: Eligible Employees are defined by the applicable collective agreements and the BRHA terms and conditions of employment. Complete information on the BRHA benefits program is available in a booklet from the Payroll Department.
